Ernest Borgnine was 95 yesterday and he's still making movies! The Posedion Adventure, Escape from New York, The Wild Bunch, The Dirty Dozen..... so many classic movies and of course Airwolf!

Slightly off-topic this, but two days ago I found out that Daniel Pearl (who shot the original Texas Chainsaw and the remake), also shot the music videos for "Billie Jean" and "You Are Not Alone".  That link is such a mind boggler!

Whoa, it's Tobe Hooper's birthday today? I had no idea. I just watched one of his films, Lifeforce, again with a friend...

Further hint that a Lifeforce commentary would be much appreciated ;)

Weird. I too had no idea it was his birthday and last night watched Eaten Alive... which...despite a strong central performance by Neville Brand...was like most Hooper films...a bit shit

I'm not sure he directed Poltergeist to be honest.

These guys are pretty sure Hooper directed (a lot of) Poltergeist, and I agree with them...

Agreed. A film this mental deserves it.
